Support Nicole in Denver

Nicole Bruner is currently raising support to help launch Formation Church, where she will serve on staff.

Nicole lived her early childhood in Colorado Springs, CO, while her father served as VP at Focus on the Family. She later moved with her large family to the Dallas, TX area, where she attended the University of Texas at Dallas and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Though she was originally accepted into and planned to attend a DPT program in Dallas, God quickly showed Nicole what it meant to live with open hands toward a very different direction.

Growing up in a loving Christian home, Nicole has always felt called to use both her project management skills and her passion for supporting families and children. She began doing this through her role as the Camp & Sports Director at a local camp in Dallas over the past few years. Creating meaningful experiences for families, mentoring individuals toward growth and health, and handling detail-oriented work for the Kingdom are the kinds of callings that energize her most.

Having always had a deep desire to return to the beauty of her home state, Nicole sensed God opening doors from the moment Mauricio and Lacey approached her about the vision for Formation Church in Colorado. It became clear how God had used the last eight years of her life to deepen her faith, grow her love for people, and equip her with the practical tools needed for ministry. Though she once felt certain she would never work for a church, the Lord had a better plan and a clear reason for bringing her back to Colorado.

Nicole is ecstatic to use her gifts to help build and support the operations of a movement only God can start, as we seek to form and multiply disciples across Northeast Denver.
